Job summary

Aon Strategy and Technology Group (STG) – Actuarial Consulting seeks a Senior Managing Director to lead strategic and actuarial analyses for insurance and reinsurance clients. You will build differentiated offerings and scale services while growing relationships with executives across geographies.

In this builder role, you’ll develop value propositions, drive delivery excellence, and mentor teams to expand STG’s actuarial advisory presence in target markets, ensuring client impact and growth.

Qualifications

• FCAS (or equivalent casualty actuarial credential) is required
• Typically 15+ years of analytics‑centric experience in property/casualty insurance, reinsurance, or actuarial consulting
• Demonstrated track record leading complex actuarial and strategic engagements for insurance or reinsurance clients
• Familiarity with R, Python, SQL or similar analytics tools; strong proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, required

Responsibilities

• Lead consultative sales and client solutions with C‑Suite executives
• Develop and refine new actuarial and strategic offerings and pricing approaches
• Drive commercial growth; build a high‑quality pipeline of opportunities
• Oversee delivery of complex actuarial advisory engagements across multiple geographies
• Mentor and develop team members and foster a culture of continuous improvement
