Job summary

Aon’s Strategy & Technology Group (STG) is seeking an experienced credentialed actuary to help grow an advisory capability focused on property & casualty insurance. This role blends hands-on analysis with client advisory work, developing pricing strategies and rating structures in collaboration with client stakeholders.

The Associate Director will apply GLMs to large datasets, manage client engagements from problem definition through delivery, and provide technical leadership to junior staff

Qualifications

• 7+ years of actuarial pricing experience within property & casualty.
• Bachelor’s degree required.
• FCAS credential preferred.
• Experience conducting rate filing research using SERFF and reviewing filing exhibits.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, refine, and support actuarial pricing analyses across P&C use cases, including rate adequacy and rating plans.
• Apply GLMs to model pure premium using large datasets.
• Translate business problems into analytical solutions and communicate results clearly to technical/non-technical audiences.
• Manage client engagements from problem definition through delivery with analytical rigor.
• Partner with brokers and senior team members to deliver client solutions.
• Provide technical leadership and training to junior staff; support proposals and RFPs.
