Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 4+ actuarial exams passed.
• 5+ years actuarial/health care economics experience.
• 2+ years mentoring actuarial staff.
• Extensive knowledge of pricing concepts and methodologies in health care.
• Proficiency in SAS/SQL or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Provide design and oversight of complex actuarial models related to pricing and risk assumptions of Part D.
• Lead actuarial efforts affecting new and existing business.
• Direct development of competitive analyses.
• Assess impact of actions on premiums and product proposals.
• Mentor and develop a team of actuaries.
• Oversee actuarial pricing models development and pricing methodologies.
• Analyze forecasts and trends.
• Assist with designing and analyzing new products.
• Identify and resolve technical, operational and organizational problems.
