Job summary

UnitedHealthcare seeks a Director, Actuarial Services to lead Part D pricing and forecasting efforts. You will oversee data analytics, SAS/SQL/Excel modeling, and model development while guiding cross-functional projects across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ASA or FSA designation required.
• 5+ years of actuarial experience.
• Experience with Part D pricing or forecasting.
• Experience using models that involve large datasets.
• Advanced or higher proficiency in MS Excel.
• Basic or higher proficiency in SAS/SQL or other programming.

Responsibilities

• Understand Part D bid pricing.
• Collaborate on development of actuarial Part D pricing and forecast models and methodologies.
• Lead actuarial analysis and services in support of pricing and forecasting assumptions.
• Review results from pricing and forecasting models and test sensitivity.
• Participate in the Part D bid submission process.
• Participate in forecast process, evaluating drivers and variances.
• Define and manage deadlines for projects supporting team goals.
• Develop trusted relationships with leaders across the company.
• Identify inefficiencies in processes and models and implement changes.
