Job summary

Everest Global Services, Inc. in Warren, NJ, seeks a VP, Head of Actuarial Reserving Governance to lead the reserving governance framework, maintain strong controls, and ensure thorough documentation across the reserving function.

You will partner with Finance, Risk, and Audit, oversee controls testing, coordinate with internal and external auditors, and drive continuous improvement in governance practices to support compliant, transparent reserving processes.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of actuarial or related experience with exposure to reserving.
• Strong governance, controls, and documentation knowledge.
• Experience with SOX controls and audit processes.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the reserving governance framework.
• Ensure consistent application of governance standards across reserving processes.
• Assist in development and enhancement of governance structures and practices.
• Lead documentation for reserving methodologies, assumptions, and processes.
• Oversee controls execution and testing related to reserving; coordinate with Finance and Internal Audit.
• Coordinate with Actuarial, Finance, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure alignment.
