Everest in Warren, NJ is seeking a Head of Reserving Governance to lead the reserving governance framework. You will partner with actuarial, finance, risk and audit teams to ensure strong controls and compliant documentation across reserving activities.

The role emphasizes governance execution, documentation, controls testing and stakeholder coordination, with a base salary range of $206,000 to $275,500 and a broad benefits package.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of actuarial or related experience with exposure to reserving.
• Strong governance, controls, and documentation knowledge.
• Experience with SOX controls and audit processes.
• Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
• Effective communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.

Responsabilités

• Governance Framework Execution: Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the reserving governance framework.
• Documentation & Policy Management: Lead the development and maintenance of documentation for reserving methodologies, assumptions, and processes.
• Controls & Compliance: Oversee execution and testing of controls related to reserving; coordinate with Finance and Internal Audit on control reviews.
• Stakeholder Coordination: Work with Actuarial, Finance, Risk, and Audit teams to ensure alignment and respond to audit requests.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to strengthen controls and governance processes.
