Job summary

SCOR Group in Charlotte, NC seeks an energetic actuarial professional to transform reporting processes and analytics. You will build innovative tools and frameworks for U.S.

Life metrics across statutory, GAAP, IFRS, and Solvency II bases, and own projects from development to implementation. You will collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs, deliver solutions that add value, and support strategic initiatives while mentoring junior team members and driving process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related field.
• FSA or equivalent designation.
• Fellow of the Society of Actuaries (FSA) designation.
• 5+ years actuarial experience in insurance/reinsurance.
• Experience with BI and analytics tools; Python preferred.
• IFRS, Solvency II, LDTI, PBR experience preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration.
• Mentoring junior staff.
• Ability to understand complex models and conduct valuation.

Responsibilities

• Propose solutions for new reporting tools.
• Lead development of tools for IFRS17 and Solvency II metrics.
• Partner with business teams to deliver client analytics.
• Support senior management with financial scenario analysis.
• Drive learning and innovation within the team.
• Provide support for Group reporting topics.
• Assist with annual capital model runs.
