SCOR is seeking a Senior Actuary for US Reporting & Analysis to support quarterly US regulatory reporting, annual audits, and appointed actuary work. The role centers on US Statutory, US GAAP, and US Tax reporting, delivering high-quality analyses and collaborating with actuarial and finance teams.

The candidate will guide reserve analyses, participate in audits, and mentor junior staff while driving process improvements and automation.

Qualificações

• FSA designation or equivalent.
• ,
• 5–10 years’ experience in valuation, financial reporting, modeling, cash flow analysis.

Responsabilidades

• Own timely and accurate preparation for SCOR US actuarial reporting for US Statutory, US GAAP, and US Tax.
• Review, analyze, and communicate financial results, key drivers, emerging trends, and insights to management.
• Support the US STAT and US GAAP portion of annual financial audits with external auditors and regulators.
• Prepare and review annual Appointed Actuary filings, including Actuarial Opinions and Certifications.
• Perform and review reserve analyses, reconciliations and validations to ensure controls and audit trails.
• Monitor regulatory, accounting and industry developments and implement related changes to methodologies and reporting.
• Provide actuarial expertise for company-wide strategic initiatives and special assignments.
• Provide mentorship to junior team members and promote knowledge sharing.
