What’sActuary in our Finance Division?The Actuarial Department ensures that Wellmark’s products are adequately priced to meet financial goals and reserves are established to cover Wellmark’s unpaid claim liabilities. Actuarial team members create models and perform analyses to support pricing, reserving and forecasting functions. The evolving health insurance environment provides team members opportunities to develop and utilize their actuarial skill set and technical knowledge.
