Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in CS, MIS or related field.
• Knowledge of software development technologies (NodeJS, Angular, .NET, MongoDB, SQL).

• Ability to troubleshoot and develop creative technical solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Active participation in team ceremonies for work breakdown, estimation, sequencing, and continuous improvement.
• Full stack development opportunities for new features.

• Develop business knowledge of the application necessary to effectively provide support maintenance.

Job Description

What’s Application Development in our Technology Division? At a time when technology is creating new business models, disrupting industries and creating valuable experiences for consumers, our role as technology team members must elevate an organization through innovative transformation, modernized technology and delivery of new business strategies, including an aim to continuously evolve and enhance the customer experience. This position is responsible for supporting many of Wellmark's member, employer, and provider-facing digital applications.

Qualifications

• Current junior or senior student pursing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related field
• Knowledge of software development technologies (NodeJS, Angular, .NET, MongoDB, SQL)
• Strong analytical problem-solving skills. Accuracy and high attention to detail and self-starter.
• Ability to troubleshoot and develop creative technical solutions.
• Demonstrated computer skills with Microsoft Office products (Word, Access, PowerPoint and Excel)
• Excellent writing and communication skills

Preferred

• Prior work experience in an office environment or internship
