Job summary

Milliman seeks an Actuarial Intern in Chicago to join the Life, Financial Services and Life Technology Solutions practice. You may work in Mergers & Acquisitions or Financial Risk Management, contributing to valuation projects and risk analyses under supervision.

The role offers exposure to valuation models, dynamic hedging concepts and actuarial projections, with mentorship and potential for SOA exam progression.

Qualifications

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Actuarial Science or related field.
Completion of at least one SOA exam and actively pursuing advanced designations.
Proficiency in Excel; programming knowledge is a plus (SAS, C++, VBA).
Strong quantitative background and interest in actuarial modeling.

Responsibilities

Support Mergers & Acquisitions and Financial Risk Management projects with valuation work.
Assist in development of actuarial models and risk analyses under supervision.
Collaborate with teams on modeling, forecasting and capital management tasks.
Contribute to training on industry-standard tools and methodologies.
