Job summary

Willis Towers Watson in Chicago, IL, is seeking an actuarial intern to join our Life division. You will contribute to product development, financial modelling and risk management on a variety of insurance projects under credentialed actuaries.

The role emphasizes hands-on client exposure, collaboration across teams, and ongoing opportunities to advance actuarial credentials while you work on-site, with a housing stipend provided for this offer.

Qualifications

• Able to work legally in the United States indefinitely without visa sponsorship.
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, finance or related with GPA ≥ 3.0.
• Actuarial exams completed or in progress is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated technical/client service skills and leadership through work or extracurriculars.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills; strong Excel and MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with pricing, valuation and development of insurance products.
• Develop financial projections for clients’ insurance businesses.
• Support project planning and monitor progress against deadlines.
