Job summary

Milliman's Mountain Gulf Health Practice is seeking motivated current college students or recent graduates for a full-time summer internship. Interns will perform data analyses to support consulting across health insurance areas, including ACA, Medicare, Medicaid, and more, with a strong emphasis on developing technical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university or recent grad with quantitative coursework.
• One SOA exam passed or in progress is preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within a team.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses using spreadsheets, databases, and other resources to clean, synthesize, and analyze data.
• Communicate results to peers and project leaders.
• Review the work of peers.
• Prepare and document project files.
• Assist with research and business development projects.
• Gain experience working with health care data using various software applications.
