Job summary

Milliman’s Mountain Gulf Health Practice is seeking motivated current college students or recent graduates for a full-time summer internship. You will perform data analyses, communicate findings, and support consulting across health insurance areas such as ACA, Medicare, Medicaid, and more.

You will work with health care data using multiple software tools and gain valuable actuarial experience. You will be paired with a dedicated manager, with opportunities for growth and professional

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled or recent graduate in a quantitative field.
• At least one SOA exam passed.
• Solid understanding of actuarial concepts and data analysis.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform analyses using spreadsheets, databases, and other resources to clean, synthesize, and analyze data.
• Communicate results to peers and project leaders.
• Review the work of peers.
• Prepare and document project files.
• Assist with research and business development projects.
• Gain experience working with health care data using various software applications.
