Job summary

Pacific Life Insurance Company in Charlotte, NC is seeking actuarial interns for Summer 2027. You will contribute to actuarial projects including dashboards, Rider analyses, cash flow analyses, and tooling to improve efficiency.

You will receive Annuity product training and mentorship from executives, with exposure to Modeling, Risk Management, Product Design, Pricing, Valuation, and Reinsurance, plus social events.

Qualifications

• Candidates should be pursuing an actuarial career and graduate between December 2027 and May/June 2028.
• Completion of at least 1 Society of Actuaries exam is required.
• Undergraduate degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, Finance, or Actuarial Science.

Responsibilities

• Assist on actuarial projects such as creating dashboards to visualize data and Rider/Cash Flow analyses.
• Work on tools to improve efficiency and support actuarial work.
• Participate in rotational events to learn about Modeling, Risk Management, Product Design, Pricing, Valuation, and Reinsurance.
• Engage in networking and social activities as part of the internship program.
