Job summary

Federated Mutual Insurance Company is offering a full-time, in-person summer internship from June 7, 2027 to August 18, 2027. You will work on company level experience and rate level studies, data collection for reports, and regulatory reporting with daily collaboration from mentoring teammates.

Qualified candidates are juniors or seniors majoring in Actuarial Science, Math, or Statistics with a GPA of 3.2 or higher and proficiency in Excel.

Qualifications

• Junior or senior majoring in Actuarial Science, Math, or Statistics.
• GPA of at least 3.2.
• Strong computer knowledge including Excel or equivalent spreadsheet software.
• Confidentiality of business and personnel information must be maintained.

Responsibilities

• Assist with company level experience and rate level studies.
• Collect and organize data to create reports.
• Assist with rating filings and other regulatory reporting.
• Collaborate with team members daily and learn from coaching.
