Aon’s Strategy and Technology Group is seeking an Actuarial Associate Director to lead reserving, pricing and capital modeling initiatives for insurance and reinsurance clients in the U.S. The role combines technical analytics with client leadership, guiding project delivery and ensuring regulatory compliance.

You will apply advanced actuarial techniques, supervise junior staff, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to shape pricing strategies and robust financial projections.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Actuarial Reserving and Reserve Analysis for P&C insurance.
• ACAS or equivalent credential required.
• Experience with NAIC Statements of Actuarial Opinions preferred.
• Experience in actuarial pricing methods, GLMs, machine learning, and regulatory frameworks preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead preparation, analysis, and presentation of quarterly loss and LAE reserve levels.
• Conduct data exploration, forecasting, and modeling to identify trends and key drivers of reserve results.
• Oversee allocation of held bulk reserves to granular levels as directed by clients.
• Perform QA checks and peer reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Review and improve procedures for greater efficiency and client impact.
• Develop pricing models to improve risk segmentation and profitability.
• Ensure pricing approaches align with regulatory requirements and market dynamics.
