PEMCO is seeking a Data Scientist - Actuarial to conduct actuarial and predictive analyses to support product development, rating, reserving, and process improvements. You will develop rates, rating plans, and pricing strategies while collaborating with the Product Team to deliver business solutions.

The role requires documenting workflows and upholding PEMCO’s values and ethics. Responsibilities include working with actuarial data, performing multivariate analysis, and translating complex data

Formación

• S degree or equivalent work experience in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field is required.
• 3+ years of experience in actuarial and statistical predictive modeling is required.
• MS Office: Skilled proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook is required.
• Skilled proficiency with Python, R, SAS and/or SQL is required.
• Analytical and data-driven: a structured thinker who can put complex ideas into clear frameworks; uses data to conduct root cause analysis and develops high quality, consumable, and consistent metrics that drive strategic objectives and priorities is required.
• Highly analytical: works with disparate datasets to translate data into insights and can collaborate with external vendors to integrate data.
