PEMCO is seeking a Data Scientist - Actuarial who will perform actuarial and predictive analysis to support product development, rating, reserving, and process improvements for PEMCO.

The role requires 3+ years of actuarial modeling experience, strong skills in Excel, Python, R, SAS and SQL, and collaboration with the Product Team. Occasional travel to the Seattle, WA headquarters is expected.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics, or related field.
• Approx. 3+ years of actuarial and predictive modeling experience.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, SAS and SQL.
• Analytical, data-driven thinker who translates data into insights.

Responsabilidades

• Provide analytical support for actuarial and product development.
• Conduct predictive modeling and multivariate analysis.
• Assist with rate development, pricing strategies, and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Team and other units for solutions.
• Document system workflows and business processes.
