Qualifications

• Requires a B.S. in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related field; graduate degree preferred.
• 6+ years of actuarial and statistical predictive modeling experience.
• 3+ years in the property and casualty insurance industry.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint/Outlook).
• Proficiency in Python, R, SAS and/or SQL; familiarity with Radar/Emblem/ResQ.

Responsibilities

• Independently perform complex actuarial and analytical support for product development.
• Develop large-scale predictive modeling and multivariate analyses.
• Create queries and tools for rates, pricing strategies and financial analysis.
• Collaborate with Product Team and actuaries to support strategic decisions.
• Mentor less experienced team members and share best practices.
• Document system workflows and business processes.
