Job summary
American International Group (AIG) is seeking a driven Lead Business Analyst within the Global Data Office to align actuarial data strategy with business priorities. You will work with Commercial Lines Actuarial Groups and data engineering teams to translate complex requirements into actionable data specifications and ROADMAP actuarial data capabilities.
You will lead Agile product ownership for the Data Platform, drive backlog management, and ensure governance across data lineage and quality.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis within insurance/financial services.
- Actuarial concepts knowledge: reserving, pricing, risk assessment.
- Ability to translate complex actuarial requirements into data specs for engineering teams.
Responsibilities
- Lead deep requirement sessions with senior actuaries to understand workflows, data nuances and reporting needs.
- Facilitate alignment across actuaries and Data Office teams on priorities and timelines.
- Own roadmaps for actuarial data and tool development, and partner with data engineers to deploy them timely.
- Translate actuarial requirements into user stories, epics and acceptance criteria; maintain data governance.
