Job summary

PartnerRe is seeking a skilled Actuarial Associate to join our team in Charlotte, NC. You will develop actuarial models for pricing reinsurance quotes and conduct experience studies under senior guidance, while maintaining thorough documentation and supporting key deliverables.

You will leverage R, Excel, SQL, Tableau, and Python to ensure accuracy, compliance with guidelines, and timely insights for decision-makers. A Bachelor’s in actuarial science and SOA candidacy are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science or related discipline.
• Working towards an Associate in the Society of Actuaries or equivalent designation.
• Knowledge of R, Excel, SQL, Tableau and Python is beneficial.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral).
• Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain actuarial models for pricing reinsurance quotes, research projects and/or experience analysis.
• Peer review actuarial models and results performed by other team members.
• Perform experience studies under the direction of senior team members.
• Ensure models meet corporate guidelines and reflect best practices.
• Create and maintain documentation of pricing and/or research materials, actuarial models and experience studies.
• Maintain and provide support for US Life tools.
