PartnerRe Ltd. in the United States seeks a skilled Actuarial Associate to join the team.

The successful candidate will develop actuarial models for pricing reinsurance quotes, research projects and experience analyses, while maintaining thorough documentation and supporting key deliverables. The role includes peer reviewing colleagues' models, performing experience studies under senior guidance, and ensuring models align with corporate guidelines and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related discipline.
  • Working towards an Associate in the Society of Actuaries or equivalent designation.
  • Knowledge of R, Excel, SQL, Tableau and Python is beneficial.
  • Strong communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain actuarial models for pricing reinsurance quotes, research projects and/or experience analysis.
  • Peer review actuarial models and results performed by other team members.
  • Perform experience studies under the direction of senior team members.
  • Ensure models meet corporate guidelines and reflect best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation of pricing and/or research materials, actuarial models and experience studies.

About this job:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Actuarial Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in developing actuarial models and tools, maintaining documentation and supporting key deliverables.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Create and maintain actuarial models for pricing reinsurance quotes, research projects and/or experience analysis.
  • Peer review actuarial models and results performed by other team members.
  • Perform experience studies under the direction of senior team members.
  • Ensure models meet corporate guidelines and reflect best practices.
  • Create and maintain documentation of pricing and/or research materials, actuarial models and experience studies.
  • Maintain and provide support for US Life tools.

Qualifications:

You are a highly motivated individual who can work in an open, collaborative environment with a diverse team of financial professionals.

  • No prior experience in life reinsurance or a related field is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in actuarial science or related discipline.
  • Working towards an Associate in the Society of Actuaries or equivalent designation.
  • Knowledge of programs such as R, Excel, SQL, Tableau and Python is beneficial.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage time and multiple priorities efficiently.
