Job summary

Sammons Financial Group in Sioux Falls, SD, seeks an actuarial professional at Associate 1 or 2 level to perform technical actuarial tasks, including modeling, data analysis, and financial reporting for our products.

You'll develop knowledge of products, apply actuarial assumptions, use modeling software, and support risk management while collaborating across teams and pursuing actuarial credentials in the SOA program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or business field required.
• 3–5 years of actuarial experience preferred.
• Passed at least 3 SOA exams and pursuing actuarial designation.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical actuarial tasks including modeling, data analytics, product development and financial reporting.
• Develop knowledge of products and related cash flows; assist in regulatory materials.
• Create and modify simple financial models; document inputs and results; ensure data accuracy.
