Job summary

Symetra is seeking an Actuarial Associate I or II to run the monthly fixed indexed annuity valuation model and deliver timely financial results. You will develop model enhancements and perform analyses to support insights and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with strong quantitative background.
• 1–3 years of annuity actuarial experience.
• 1–3 actuarial exams completed or in progress.
• Able to meet deadlines and work collaboratively.
• Understanding of annuity products and basic modeling.
• Preferred experience with Python, SQL/Snowflake.

Responsibilities

• Run monthly fixed indexed annuity valuation model and ensure accurate results.
• Develop model enhancements and conduct in-depth analyses.
• Assist with product development, financial reporting, and research.
• Prepare reports and maintain spreadsheets and databases.
