Job summary

Symetra is seeking an Actuary II to support the development and pricing of Fixed Annuity, Fixed Indexed Annuity, and Registered Index-Linked Annuity products. You will build and enhance MG-ALFA pricing models, develop modeling assumptions, and analyze profitability across scenarios.

You will collaborate with Product Development and other partners, communicate key findings, and provide technical guidance to junior actuarial team members. A strong quantitative background is essential.

Qualifications

• ASA designation required; FSA preferred.
• Six to nine years of actuarial experience.
• Experience with MG-ALFA pricing models.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and price new Fixed Annuity products and features.
• Build, maintain and enhance MG-ALFA models.
• Analyze profitability, risk, and scenarios.
• Collaborate with Product Development and actuarial teams.
