Job summary

Elite Home Care, Day Centers & Transportation in Greer, SC is seeking a compassionate Activity/Member Assistant to join our team. This full-time position runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays.

You will assist the Activity Director by delivering engaging activities, provide personal care, monitor wellbeing, and help maintain a safe, confidential environment in accordance with HIPAA.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience with elderly/disabled individuals is preferred but not required.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license.
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in implementing engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
• Provide hands-on personal care (ADL assistance) to members, including feeding, toileting, and dressing as needed
• Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members.
• Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space.
• Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
