Job summary

Elite Home Care is seeking an Activity/Member Assistant in Anderson, SC. This full-time role runs Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays, offering competitive hourly pay and benefits after 30 days.

You will support activity planning, provide ADL assistance, and help create a warm, engaging environment for members. Responsibilities include leading activities, supervising participants, maintaining safety and confidentiality, and coordinating with the Activity Director.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with elderly or disabled individuals (preferred but not required).
• Reliable transportation and/or a valid driver’s license.
• CPR Certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Clean background check and drug test.
• Physically able to assist members with personal care tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in planning and implementing engaging activities, including arts and crafts, music, games, and educational programs.
• Provide hands-on personal care (ADL assistance) to members, including feeding, toileting, and dressing.
• Foster a positive and interactive environment by engaging with members.
• Set up and clean activity areas to ensure a safe and organized space.
• Redirect behaviors as needed to promote a supportive atmosphere.
• Monitor and document any changes in client behavior or health, reporting to the RN Administrator.
• Maintain client confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
