Job summary

Goldwater Care is seeking an Activity Director to design and implement an ongoing activities program that meets residents’ interests and well-being, aligned with comprehensive assessments. You will plan monthly calendars, supervise Activity Aides, and document MDS reports and progress notes.

In collaboration with the Administrator, you will help develop the activity budget and creatively source funds. Requirements include a high school diploma, completion of a training course for Activity

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and plan activities
• Prepare, plan and coordinate a monthly calendar of activities
• Oversight of Activity Aides
• Properly document MDS reports and progress notes
• Participate with the Administrator in developing the activity budget, including creatively sourcing funds

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Satisfactory completion of a training course for Activity Directors
• 2 years minimum of experience in a social or recreational program
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
