Job summary

Goldwater Care in Illinois seeks an experienced Activity Director to design and oversee engaging programs that support residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

You will develop monthly calendars, supervise Activity Aides, document progress, and collaborate with leadership to manage the activity budget and creatively source funds for activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Satisfactory completion of a training course for Activity Directors.
• Minimum 2 years in a social or recreational program.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develop and plan activities
• Prepare, plan and coordinate a monthly calendar of activities

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma or its equivalent
• Satisfactory completion of a training course for Activity Directors
• 2 years minimum of experience in a social or recreational program
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
