Job summary

Kadima Rehabilitation & Nursing at North Strabane seeks an Activity Director to plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct Activity Programs in line with federal, state and local standards. The role ensures emotional, recreational, and social needs of residents are met on an individual basis.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
Post-secondary education in a related field is desirable
Computer knowledge desirable
A physical examination and/or evidence from a physician indicating freedom of communicable disease to be available upon employment.
Must be in good physical and mental health.
Ability to work independently or part of a group.
Effectively communicate with others.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, implement, evaluate and direct Activity Programs.
Meet emotional, recreational, and social needs of residents on an individual basis.
Direct the activities in accordance with federal/state/local standards.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, and staff.
Oversee activity staff and operations in the facility.
