Job summary

Gardant Management Solutions is seeking a proactive Activities Leader to guide our resident activity team and oversee engaging recreational programs. You will design high-quality social activities, tailor monthly calendars to diverse resident needs, and document participation and progress.

You will oversee budgeting, equipment inventory, and transportation for outings, while fostering resident empowerment through the Council and community newsletter.

Qualifications

• Prior activities/life enrichment experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Must possess leadership skills and the readiness to mentor, motivate, and inspire.
• Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the Activity team, guiding residents through events and programs.
• Designs and facilitates recreational and social programs to promote participation.
• Develops a monthly activities calendar tailored to residents' abilities and preferences; tracks participation.
• Oversees budget and procurement of equipment; manages inventory and maximizes resources.
• Manages the Community transportation program, including driving the company van on outings.
• Coordinates the Resident Council and contributes to the Community newsletter.
• Continuously assesses program impact and adjusts to residents' evolving needs.
