Job summary

Goldwater Care in Peoria Heights, IL is seeking an Activity Director to create and oversee a program that supports residents' physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being, in line with each resident's assessment.

The role includes planning a monthly activities calendar, supervising Activity Aides, documenting MDS reports and progress notes, and collaborating with the Administrator on the activity budget and funding opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or its equivalent is required.
• Satisfactory completion of a training course for Activity Directors is required.
• 2 years minimum of experience in a social or recreational program is preferred.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are essential.
