Job summary

Arcadia Care in Dayton, OH seeks an Activity Director to lead a dynamic activities program designed to enhance the wellbeing of residents through social, spiritual, educational, and fitness activities. You will oversee Activity Aides and ensure proper documentation of progress notes and MDS reporting.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, completed Activity Director training, and at least 2 years of experience in a nursing facility’s social or recreational program, with a focus on

• Satisfactory completion of a training course for Activity Directors.
• 2 years minimum of experience in a social or recreational program in a nursing facility.

The Activity Director provides ongoing program of activities designed to meet, in accordance with the comprehensive assessment, the interests and the physical, mental, and psychosocial wellbeing of each resident.
