Job summary

Brookstone Estates, Emerald Glen, & Grand Victorian is seeking an Activities Coordinator to lead our Activity team and guide residents through engaging events and programs. You will design andFacilitate recreational activities, crafting a monthly calendar tailored to diverse resident needs and documenting participation.

Manage budget, inventory, and transportation for outings. The role requires strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to mentor staff while promoting dignity

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Minimum age 21 with driving record in good standing preferred.
• Prior activities/life enrichment experience in a healthcare setting.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Must possess leadership skills and the ability to mentor, motivate, and inspire.
• Demonstrates exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Activity team and guide residents through activities and events.
• Design and facilitate recreational and social programs promoting participation from residents, family, employees, and community.
• Develop monthly activities calendar tailored to residents’ abilities and preferences, documenting participation and progress.
• Oversee budget and inventory of equipment and supplies for a cost-effective activities program.
• Manage the Community transportation program, including driving the company van for outings.
• Coordinate the Resident Council and the Community newsletter reflecting the organization’s mission and values.
• Assess program impact regularly and adjust to evolving resident needs.
