Job summary

Marie’s Manor in Vienna, MO, is seeking an Activity Assistant to enhance residents' quality of life by creating meaningful activities that promote socialization, recreation, and well-being.

You will plan and lead arts and crafts, games, outings, and events, work with the activities director, maintain records, and ensure programs meet policies and regulations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in activity direction or a related field is preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents, including arts and crafts, games, outings, and social events
• Build relationships with residents to understand their preferences and tailor activities to meet their unique needs and abilities
• Collaborate with the activities director to develop and implement activity programs that promote socialization, recreation, and relaxation
• Administer activities and programs in accordance with state and federal regulations, as well as Marie's Manor policies and procedures
• Maintain accurate records of activities, attendance, and resident participation
