Job summary

Bluebird Wellness & Rehabilitation in Missouri seeks an enthusiastic Activity Assistant to brighten daily life for residents in our skilled nursing facility. You will plan and lead activities—crafts, games, music, outings, and events—and support family and community involvement to create a warm, engaging atmosphere.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, Activities Certification is a plus, and 1+ year in long-term care or related settings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (required).
• Activities Certification (preferred).
• 1+ year experience in long-term care or related setting (preferred).
• Experience running recreational or social programs in last 5 years (preferred).
• Energetic, outgoing, and dependable.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Shifts Available

• 8:00 AM - 3:30 PM, weekdays with rotating weekends
• 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, weekdays with rotating weekends

What You'll Do
