Job summary

Pinnacle Care in Battle Creek, MI, seeks an Activities Aide to plan, organize, implement, and evaluate recreational, social, and spiritual programs for residents.

You will follow facility policy and the resident care plan, read and follow written and verbal instructions in English, and support resident engagement under supervision to promote well-being and quality of life.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, and communicate in the English language.
• Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Takes part in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social and spiritual programs in accordance with facility policy and the resident's care plan.
• Treat all residents with dignity and respect.
• Follow safety and hygiene measures at all times to protect residents and themselves.
• Report any allegations of abuse, neglect, misappropriation of property, exploitation, or mistreatment of residents to supervisor and/or administrator.
• Follow established infection control policies and procedures.
• Refer residents/families to appropriate social services personnel when indicated.

Pinnacle Care is seeking an Activities to join our skilled nursing home in Battle Creek, MI!

Our activities aides assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social and spiritual programs in accordance with facility policy, the resident's care plan, and as directed by supervisors.

Job Tasks include, but are not limited to:

• Treat all resident with dignity and respect
