Job summary

Hope Creek Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in East Moline, IL seeks an Activity Assistant to craft engaging activities, support resident well-being, and promote a warm, inclusive atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and assist residents with transfers.
• Valid driver's license if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and run daily activities and events for residents (crafts, games, outings, entertainment).
• Develop and maintain relationships with residents, families, and staff to create a positive atmosphere.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure seamless activity coordination.
• Participate in planning and execution of special events (holidays, theme days).
• Collaborate with staff to address resident needs and preferences.
• Maintain accurate records and reports on resident participation and outcomes.
