McKnight Place Assisted Living and Memory Care in St. Louis is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for day shifts (7am–7pm). This role supports residents in memory care and assisted living with compassionate, person-centered care on 12-hour shifts.

Competitive pay ranges from $18 to $20 per hour. A Missouri CNA certification is required, along with a high school diploma or equivalent; memory care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Missouri CNA certification is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year CNA experience in Memory Care preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care including bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Build trusting relationships through person-centered care.
• Assist residents with walking, transfers, and transportation using gait belts when needed.
• Promote resident independence and dignity.
• Collaborate with Charge Nurses and the care team to deliver exceptional care.

Responsibilities Overview:

As an Assisted Living and Memory Care Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), you’ll provide compassionate, person-centered care that supports each resident’s individual needs. As a valued member of our care team, you may provide support in Assisted Living or Memory Care based on the needs of our residents.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents, including assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Build trusting relationships through compassionate, person-centered care.
• Assist residents with walking, transportation, and transfers using gait belts when necessary.
• Promote resident independence and dignity.
• Work collaboratively with Charge Nurses and the interdisciplinary team to provide exceptional care.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Rotating weekends
• 12-hour shifts (7am-7pm)

Competitive Pay:

• $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Flexible Hours:

• Part-Time: 12 – 32 hours per week
• Full-Time: 32 – 40 hours per week

Position Requirements:

• A valid unencumbered Missouri Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certification is required.
• AHigh School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least1 year of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) experience in a Memory Care setting is preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skillsto build meaningful connections with staff, residents, and families.
• Ability to read, write, and speak Englisheffectively.
• Reliable transportation is required.
