Job summary

CareCore at Gaymont is seeking an energetic PRN Activity Aide to join our Activities team. This is an as-needed position designed to cover staff callouts, vacations, holidays, weekends, and other scheduling needs. If you enjoy working with seniors and bringing fun and creativity to their day, we would love to hear from you.

We offer Daily Pay, and a flexible schedule with weekend and holiday availability. Typical hours are 10:00 AM - 6:30 PM.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, outgoing, and comfortable working with seniors.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Previous experience in long-term care, senior living, activities, recreation, or a similar setting is preferred.
• Must have the flexibility required for a PRN/as-needed position.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading recreational and social activities.
• Encourage resident participation and engagement.
• Help with games, crafts, group activities, special events, and celebrations.
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas.
• Provide friendly one-on-one interaction with residents.
• Help create a positive, welcoming environment throughout the facility.
