Job summary

CareCore at Meadows in Cincinnati, OH, is seeking a Part-Time Activity Assistant who is energetic, dependable, and compassionate to join our team and brighten residents' days.

You will plan and lead programs with the Activities team to promote socialization, engagement, and quality of life, while creating a welcoming, engaging environment for residents. Weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be dependable, friendly, patient, and enthusiastic.
• Enjoy working with seniors and individuals with varying levels of ability.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Flexible part-time schedule including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and leading group and individual resident activities
• Encourage resident participation in activities and events
• Help with games, crafts, music, social events, holiday celebrations, and other programs
• Assist with setting up and cleaning up activity areas
• Spend one-on-one time with residents who may not participate in group activities
• Help maintain activity supplies and materials
• Work collaboratively with nursing and other departments to support resident needs
• Provide a positive, welcoming, and engaging experience for residents

CareCore at Meadows is looking for an energetic, dependable, and compassionate Part-Time Activity Assistant to join our team! This position is perfect for someone who enjoys working with seniors, bringing people together, and helping create a fun and engaging environment for our residents.

As an Activity Assistant, you will work alongside our Activities team to plan and lead programs that promote socialization, engagement, and overall quality of life.
