Willow Crossing Health and Rehabilitation in Columbus, Indiana, is seeking compassionate Activity Assistants to join our care team. You will support the Activity Director in developing meaningful activities and help residents stay engaged.

Ideal candidates read and write English, have a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid Indiana driver's license, and enjoy arts, crafts, music and group activities. No prior experience required but preferred.

Qualifications

• Must read and write in English and communicate with residents, families and staff.
• Ability to stay standing and bend for extended periods.
• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music and group activities.

• Encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• Maintain all records relating to activities and complete paperwork timely.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.
• Complete initial activity interest assessment.
• Assist the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments.

• To encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• To maintain all records relating to activities and complete all paperwork on a timely basis.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.

• High School Graduate or its equivalent is preferred
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.

• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music and group activities.
