Brooke Knoll Village in Avon, Indiana seeks compassionate Activity Assistants to support the Activity Director in meaningful programs aligned with the facility’s philosophy and policies. You will help residents engage in activities and maintain essential records to ensure timely paperwork.

The ideal candidate reads and writes well in English, holds a high school diploma, and may have knowledge of arts and crafts, music, and group activities. Valid Indiana driver’s license is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or its equivalent preferred.
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write in English, ability to communicate with residents, families, personnel and support agencies.
• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music and group activities.

• Maintain all records relating to activities and complete all paperwork on a timely basis.

• To encourage residents to participate in meaningful activities.
• To maintain all records relating to activities and complete all paperwork on a timely basis.
• Assist with seasonal activities and bulletin boards.
• Complete initial activity interest assessment
• Assist the Activity Director in integrating the activity department with other departments

About you:

The ideal candidate would have the following skills and experience:

• High School Graduate or its equivalent is preferred
• Must possess a valid Indiana driver’s license.
• Ability to read and write in English, ability to communicate with residents, families, personnel and support agencies.
• Must be capable of extended periods of standing and bending.
• Knowledge of arts, crafts, music and group activities.
