Job summary

Westmont Living in Chico, CA seeks a compassionate Lifestyle/Activities Assistant to support residents through engaging daily activities. You will assist with organizing events, arts and crafts, and social programs, while ensuring a warm, homelike atmosphere.

Ideal candidates will be available on weekends, pass health screenings, and be eager to help residents reach their fullest potential through planned activities and regular documentation of programs.

Qualifications

• Must be available weekends.
• Must pass health screening including TB and drug test.
• Criminal background check is required.
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation in planned activities to promote well-being.
• Document and develop activity programs.
• Assist with arts and crafts and other leisure activities.
• Foster social engagement through games, puzzles, movies, and outings.

What we need from you:

• MUST be available weekend
• Assisting with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents’ fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs
• Assist with the Community’s arts and crafts activities.
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
