Peninsula Post-Acute in Burlingame, CA is seeking an Activity Assistant to plan and lead engaging activities for residents. You will create meaningful experiences, build relationships with residents and families, and collaborate with nursing to support quality of life.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in activities, recreation, senior care, or related field.
• Excellent attendance and strong reliability required.
• Available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities: plan and facilitate engaging group activities, hobbies, games, and local outings.
• Create meaningful experiences by matching activities to resident interests.
• Build warm, respectful relationships with residents, families, and staff.
• Maintain a safe environment by following policies and safety standards.
• Collaborate with nursing and other departments to support engagement and quality of life.
