Job summary

Blaire House of Worcester invites an energetic Activity Aide/Assistant to support our dementia-focused skilled nursing center. You will help plan and run recreational programs, group activities, entertainment, and religious events for residents, fostering a stimulating and compassionate environment.

Documentation of participation is done in our electronic records; you will work scheduled shifts including rotating weekends, contributing to a high quality of life for residents.

Qualifications

• Education: High School education or equivalent.
• Training and experience: Willing to be trained in recreational planning and development; two years of experience in a recreational program and dementia training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists in planning and carrying out recreational programs, group activities, special entertainment, special holiday events and religious activities.
• Document activity participation in electronic record.
• Works scheduled days, including rotating weekends.
