Job summary

Complete Care - West Caldwell is seeking a friendly, energetic Activity Aide to engage residents in group and individual recreation, with a focus on safety and enjoyment. You will support the Director of Activities and the Administrator while helping create meaningful daily experiences for those we serve.

The part-time schedule runs 10am–5pm on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. A High School diploma or equivalent is required; prior long-term care experience is a plus but not required.

• Prior experience in long-term care is a plus but not required.
• Outgoing, creative, compassionate, and a team-oriented mindset.
• Basic computer knowledge is expected.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist with group and individual recreation programs
• Motivate residents to participate and ensure safety during events
• Report resident concerns to the nursing team
• Keep activity attendance records
• Decorate the community for holidays and seasonal celebrations
• Support the Director of Activities and Administrator with additional tasks
