Job summary

Complete Care is seeking a compassionate Activity Aide to bring joyful, engaging experiences to residents. You will help plan and lead daily activities, support one-on-one participation, and assist with event decorating to create a welcoming environment.

The role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a genuine passion for enriching seniors' lives. Part-time daytime schedule with opportunities for growth and development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience as Activity Aide or in long-term care preferred, but training is offered.
• Positive attitude with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Creative, dependable, organized, and able to work well in a team.
• Basic computer skills required.
• Genuine passion for enriching the lives of seniors.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Activities in coordinating and leading daily recreational, social, and therapeutic programs.
• Encourage resident participation and provide one-on-one support during activities as needed.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate observations to the nursing team when appropriate.
• Maintain attendance records and activity documentation.
• Help decorate Complete Care for holidays, seasonal events, and special celebrations.
• Prepare activity materials and keep spaces organized and inviting.
• Support community events and special programs to enhance the resident experience.
• Perform additional duties assigned by the Director of Activities or Administrator.

Activity Aide Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as an Activity Aide or in a long-term care, healthcare, recreation, or customer service setting is preferred, but we are happy to train motivated candidates.
