Job summary

Complete Care in New Jersey is seeking an Activity Aide to lead and support recreational programs for residents, focusing on safety and engagement during evenings and weekend shifts.

The ideal candidate is outgoing, creative, empathetic, and able to work as part of a caring team, providing companionship and helping decorate and enrich daily life at the facility.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.
• Outgoing, creative, empathetic, and a strong team player.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and assist in planned recreational programs for residents.
• Encourage participation and ensure resident safety during activities.
• Communicate any concerns to nursing staff.
• Maintain attendance records for events.
• Help decorate the facility for holidays and seasonal events.
• Perform other duties as directed by the Director of Activities or Administrator.
